Wit-ter-aly da Most Cutest, Innocent, Doggie

Hello!  My name is Charlie.  According to my owners I am a black basenji, but I have not been taken to a breeder, so what do they know.  I rescued by them from the side of the street.  I’ve always been a curious little dog.  I was roaming through the woods near the road when they found me.  At first I was just chasing a butterfly, then a squirrel, then an armadillo, and then another squirrel, her name was Sandy and she’s an astronaut.  I then began to chase this weird, long green thing with teeth hanging out of its mouth, and somehow, I ended up going for a swim in the lake, almost got killed, but made my way out, and… I don’t even know.  I just know that they found me on the side of the road.  They say I’m hard to handle, but I think I just bring new adventures to my human every single day.  Like the other day we were painting self portraits of ourselves, and apparently I wasn’t supposed to be included in the “we”.  My all time favorite color is red, and I feel like red goes perfectly with my black coat.  My little brother pulled out the bucket of red paint with his tiny little human hands, and man oh man did I get excited!  I was so thrilled.  I knocked over the can of paint and I rolled, and rolled, and rolled in the paint, until I could be as red as I could be.  How could I help myself?  I’m just a dog.  My big bro was so amused!  He had to take a picture of me before doing anything else.  I’m just a dog, so I had to look as cute and as innocent as possible.  The rest of the family worked together to clean up my beautiful mess on the living room floor, and my red fur coat.  I guess you could say, that it was fun while it lasted.
