The Time I Disrespected Myself, and I Was at Distraught.

It all began when I let my guard down.  

I set aside my boundaries, and my dignity.  

I forgot about my self-worth, and they embezzled me of my pride and confidence.  

I had nothing, nothing left.  

My energy and my words were gone.  

I was in shock.  

Because it began when I let my guard down, and if it hadn’t, nothing would have started.
